Job summary

RestorixHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our wound care team in Michigan. You will plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care using the Nursing Process, with a focus on wound care and outcomes.

This role offers training and collaboration across disciplines to ensure quality care. The position features a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, ongoing educational opportunities, competitive compensation, and mentorship to develop your nursing career within our expanding wound

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing is required (Magnet Hospitals require BSN)
• RN license is required
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association is required
• Prior wound care experience (Will train)
• Billing and coding experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on nursing theory and evidence-based practice
• Recognize changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately
• Prioritize nursing actions reflecting patient needs and acuity
• Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames
• Educate and counsel patients and families on wound care processes

Education

Associate degree in nursing

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Valid Registered Nursing license

CPR certification from the American Heart Association

Our Wound Care Registered Nurses (will train) are the heart and soul behind what we do. Utilizing the Nursing Process, the RN plans, implements, directs, and evaluates patient care to achieve optimal outcomes. The Wound Care Nurse works collaboratively with all other disciplines on the assigned unit. Additionally, the RN prioritizes nursing actions and will implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames. Ongoing training will provide you with the tools to be successful in your role.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide patient care based on scientific principles/nursing theory and evidence-based practice


• Recognize change in the patient’s condition and intervene appropriately


• Prioritize nursing actions including reflecting patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes


• Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames


• Educate and counsel patients and their families on wound care processes and issues

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with wound care patients (Will train)


• Prior experience with billing and coding preferred
