Job summary

Aventura Rehab & Nursing Care Center in North Miami Beach seeks a passionate RN for wound care. This is an immediate hire with an incentive bonus of $8.00/hour and full-time/part-time shifts across all RN levels.

Responsibilities include performing assessments, administering medications, wound care, and collaborating with the treatment team to deliver high-quality resident-centered care. BLS and FL RN license required; long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• FL RN License is required.
• Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required.
• Previous work in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing physical and psycho-social assessments.
• Administers medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds and monitors vital signs.
• Collaborates with treatment team to plan and revise goals and interventions.
• Evaluates patient responses and updates nursing care plans accordingly.
• Educates patients and families and communicates changes to supervisors and physicians.
