Orchard View Post-Acute and Rehabilitation Center in Kingsport, TN seeks a skilled Wound Care Nurse (RN) to assess, treat, and manage wounds for residents. You will collaborate with the nursing and medical team to develop effective wound care treatment plans and promote healing.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in Tennessee.
• Wound care certification (WCC, CWOCN, or similar) preferred.
• Long-term care/skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with older adults.

Responsibilities

• Assess, stage, and document all wounds, including pressure injuries, surgical wounds, and skin tears.
• Develop and implement individualized wound care plans with physicians and the care team.
• Educate nursing staff on wound prevention, assessment, and treatment best practices.
• Monitor wound healing progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Ensure wound care documentation complies with state and federal regulations and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by facility management.
