Job summary

Center Point Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Wound Care Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive wound care, monitor healing, and ensure infection control in line with nursing guidelines.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of wound care experience, a current CPR certification, and Wound Care certification. The role includes supervising patient care and documenting weekly wound assessments as part of a collaborative clinical team.

Qualifications

• At least two years of wound care experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Wound care certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patient care.
• Administer treatment as prescribed within standard nursing practice guidelines.
• Record weekly pressure ulcer assessment and wound measurements.
• Monitor the progress of wound healing and make recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws including problem resolution and complaint investigations.
