Hillcrest Healthcare System in Tulsa, OK seeks a day shift, full-time Inpatient Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under supervision, promoting care excellence in a collaborative environment.

Requirements include completion of an approved RN program, Oklahoma RN license, and BLS within 14 days, with preferred wound care experience and WCON certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state approved Registered Nurse Program.
• Valid State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• One (1) year of wound care experience (preferred).
• WCON certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Coordinator, the Outpatient Wound Care RN performs the primary function of Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients.
• The Outpatient Wound Care RN is a licensed caregiver who practices in a competent manner, upholds the voice of the patient, system policies and procedures while supporting service excellence goals in the clinical environment that employs a shared governance model.
• The RN serves as a partner in care anticipating and providing for the patient care needs of patients, families and significant others.
