Job summary

Hillcrest Healthcare System is seeking an inpatient Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) in Tulsa, OK for a full-time day shift. The role focuses on assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating wound care for patients across inpatient settings and associated outpatient services.

As a licensed RN, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure evidence-based wound care, documentation, and patient-centered care while maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced hospital

Qualifications

• Completion of a state approved Registered Nurse Program.
• Valid State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Coordinator, the Outpatient Wound Care RN performs the primary function of Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients.
• The Outpatient Wound Care RN is a licensed caregiver who practices in a competent manner, upholds the voice of the patient, system policies and procedures while supporting service excellence goals in the clinical environment that employs a shared governance model.
• The RN serves as a partner in care anticipating and providing for the patient care needs of patients, families and significant others.
