Job summary

AdventHealth in Rome, GA is seeking an experienced RN for wound care in a full-time clinic role. You will provide comprehensive wound assessments, develop care plans, and document progress for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The position includes leading a care team, ensuring infection control, and coordinating with home health and physicians.

Minimum qualifications include an Associate Degree in Nursing and an active RN license with BLS. CNOW/CWS/WCC credentials are preferred.

• 1+ acute care hospital experience [Required]
• RN license required
• BLS certification required
• CWON/CWS/WCC certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Leads a clinic wound care team with clear instructions to the staff.
• Delivers high-quality wound assessment and documentation for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Maintains infection control standards and educates patients and staff.
• Manages clinic operations to minimize wait times and improve satisfaction.
• Communicates with home health nurses, insurance case managers and referring physicians.
