Job summary

Inova Mount Vernon Hospital in Virginia is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care to join our team on a full-time basis, four 9-hour shifts per week. The role operates Monday through Friday with no holidays or weekends.

The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, document care, provide patient education, and support a high-quality, patient-centered environment in a leading Northern Virginia health system.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as an RN in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship.
• BLS from the American Heart Association; licensed or eligible for licensure in Virginia as an RN.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient health assessments by interpreting data and synthesizing interrelationships.
• Formulates individualized care plans based on assessments.
• Delivers patient- and family-centered care across the continuum.
• Documents all patient care per standards and assists with documentation.
• Assists staff to assess learning needs and outcomes of patient education.
• Provides clinical guidance and serves as a resource, mentor, and coordinator as needed.
