Qualifications

• Current VA or compact state RN license.
• Associate’s degree in nursing.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• Experience in wound care (required).
• Certification in wound care (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside patient care, implementing interventions identified in the plan of care as directed by a physician.
• Ensure appropriate patient care documentation.
• Implement and assure compliance with wound center and hospital policies and procedures.
• Maintain familiarity with regulatory standards.
• Report quality of care issues to the clinical manager or Program Director.
• Ensure availability of necessary equipment and supplies.
• Communicate with all team members regarding therapeutic interventions.
