Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals Round Rock is seeking an experienced Wound Care Professional to manage the wound care program and provide direct patient care. You will support staff nurses, consult with affiliated agencies, and lead wound care initiatives across the facility.

Responsibilities include developing standards, educating staff on products, evaluating wounds, and collaborating with physicians to optimize wound management plans.

Formación

• Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Current RN license; BSN preferred.
• WOCN certification (CWS) or WCC or obtain within 12 months.
• BLS certification.
• 1-3 years of licensed nursing experience in acute care.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and implements the facility wound care program per national standards.
• Establishes care standards, competencies, policies for wound care staff.
• Acts as primary consultant to Wound Care Clinicians and staff; train and support.
• Provides ongoing education on wound care products to staff.
• Evaluate wounds at admission and during treatment to plan care.
• Consults on pressure injuries and non-healing wounds; adjusts care plans.
