Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking a Wound Program Coordinator to oversee and develop wound care services, ensuring regulatory compliance and physician-guided treatment plans. You will educate patients and families, and lead hospital-wide wound care education initiatives.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams, stay current with advancements, and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care close to home.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is mandatory.
• Minimum one year of wound care experience is required.
• Continuous wound care education through seminars/professional organizations is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop wound care services in compliance with regulatory standards and physician orders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
• Lead hospital-wide wound care education for staff as well as patient and family education on wounds and wound care.
• Maintain ongoing education and stay updated on the latest wound care techniques and advancements.
