Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Fremont, CA is seeking wound care physicians for both full-time and part-time roles. Enjoy a No-Call lifestyle, perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures, and lead wound care initiatives across skilled nursing facilities in the area.

You will have clinical autonomy, comprehensive training, and a flexible schedule with weekday hours. Independent contractor pay structures and performance bonuses are noted. Positions welcome physicians from various specialties.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited program.
• Unrestricted medical license in the practicing state (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No prior wound care or procedural experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and sharp debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing, complex wounds.
• Utilize advanced dressings and wound protocols.
• Collaborate with nursing facilities and post-acute care to follow healing progress.
