Skilled Wound Care in Fremont, CA seeks physicians to lead wound care initiatives across skilled nursing facilities. No-Call lifestyle and weekday schedules offer a practical, high-impact alternative to traditional call-heavy practice. Wound care can be added to your week, with comprehensive training provided.

Full-time or part-time roles are available with per-patient and per-procedure pay plus quarterly bonuses, plus a clear path to clinical autonomy and patient-focused care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the practice state or eligibility to obtain one.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background; prior wound care or procedural experience not required; comprehensive training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing, and complex wounds.
• Apply advanced dressings and wound protocols.
• Collaborate with staff in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings to monitor healing.
