Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Knoxville, TN is hiring wound care physicians to lead initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area. This no-call position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with options for part-time or full-time work, and compensation ranging from $250,000 to $500,000 per year for full-time contractors.

Physicians from all specialties are welcome; no prior wound care experience is required as comprehensive training is provided.

Qualifications

Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one.
Open Background: We welcome physicians from all specialties. Completed residency and board certification/eligibility are not required. No previous wound care or procedural experience is required; we provide comprehensive wound care training.

Responsibilities

Use the latest advancements in wound healing to change lives in communities across Knoxville, TN.
Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing.
