Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Johnson City, TN is seeking physicians to join as wound care specialists. This no-call role offers flexible PT/FT schedules with autonomy and practical procedures in a growing field.

You'll lead wound care initiatives across SNFs, enjoy direct patient care with reduced administrative burden, and train in advanced dressings. MD or DO required; unrestricted license; open background welcome; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice.
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open Background: We welcome physicians from all specialties. Completed residency and board certification/eligibility are not required. No previous wound care or procedural experience is required; we provide comprehensive wound care training.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing
