Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Wound Care Physician. This role offers full-time or part-time options with a salary range of $250,000–$500,000 per year for full-time, and a no‑call lifestyle focused on patient healing and autonomy.

You will lead wound care initiatives across skilled nursing facilities, perform bedside procedures, and provide hands-on care with full training provided. Open backgrounds are welcomed; board certification is not required at hire.

Qualifications

• MD or DO license and board eligibility requirements are described in the ad.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice or eligibility to obtain one.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background welcome; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and sharp debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Apply advanced dressings and follow specialized wound care protocols.
• Coordinate care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.
