Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Idaho is seeking a part-time MD to lead its Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine program across SARMC and SAHS sites. The role focuses on clinical care for chronic and acute wounds, edema/lymphedema, and hyperbaric therapy, with onsite and telemedicine components (Robotic telemedicine consultations via University of Utah).

As Medical Director, you will develop protocols, oversee quality metrics, drive program growth to satellite clinics in Ontario, Oregon and Baker

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
• Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA
• Strong medical background to provide acute care and practice in a clinic setting across communities
• Eligible to obtain unrestricted Idaho & Oregon medical licenses across the Saint Alphonsus Health System

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement evidence-based protocols and pathways for Wound & Hyperbaric Medicine.
• Oversee quality metrics and performance improvement within the program.
• Guide program growth and expansion to local and satellite sites.
• Mentor and support clinical staff; collaborate with system leadership and interdisciplinary teams.
