Job summary

National Wound Physician Group in Lexington, KY, is seeking a Part-Time Wound Care Physician to join a mobile wound care team. The role features no nights, no calls, and no weekend duties, with clinics at SNFs and LTACHs within a 40–60 mile radius. Expect 20–30 patients daily across 2–3 facilities and real-time EMR documentation.

The position offers paid training and a path to fellowship, with a typical weekday schedule and an emphasis on autonomy, balance, and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day and treat 20-30 patients daily.
• Document at point of care using proprietary wound-specific EMR.
• Flexibility with a 40-60 mile radius of practice location.
