Job summary

National Wound Physician Group seeks a Wound Care Physician in Charlottesville, VA. This is a full-time opportunity with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities, focusing on bedside wound care in post-acute facilities.

You will deliver weekly wound rounds, manage 20-30 patients per day across 2-3 facilities within a 40-60 mile radius, using our proprietary wound-specific EMR. W2 employment with comprehensive benefits and paid training are provided.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted MD/DO license in the practicing state.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
• W2 employment with no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in post-acute facilities.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Visit 2–3 facilities per day and treat 20–30 patients daily.
• Document care real-time during rounds using the EMR.
