Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking a Wound Care Physician in Cleveland, OH to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This full-time/part-time role offers a no-call schedule, hands‑on procedures, and autonomy to drive patient healing within a supportive clinical network.

You will perform debridement, manage chronic wounds, and work across facilities with comprehensive training provided. Flexibility exists for part-time or full-time arrangements.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the practicing state (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Wound Care Physician Salary & Compensation

• Full-Time Average Annual Earnings: $250,000 - $500,000 (no earning cap as an independent contractor)
• High Achievers: Top performers earn $500,000+ through performance bonuses
• Pay Structure: Per-patient and per-procedure pay, plus quarterly bonus programs

Wound Care Physician Schedule

We offer consistent weekday schedules with no nights or weekends, in part-time or full-time options:

Part-Time: 2–3 days per week

Full-Time: 4–5 days per week

Wound Care Physician Requirements

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one
• Open Background: We welcome physicians from all specialties. Completed residency and board certification/eligibility are not required. No previous wound care or procedural experience is required; we provide comprehensive wound care training
