Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Arlington, VA is seeking a Wound Care Physician to provide specialized care in skilled nursing facilities. This full-time or part-time role offers a no-call Monday–Friday schedule, hands-on procedures, and autonomy to manage patient outcomes.

Full-time earnings range up to $500,000 per year with opportunity for bonuses. Applicants must hold an MD or DO, with an unrestricted license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain one; board certification is not required as

Wound Care Physician Salary & Compensation

• Full-Time Average Annual Earnings: $250,000–$500,000 (no earning cap as an independent contractor)
• High Achievers: Top performers earn $500,000+ through performance bonuses
• Pay Structure: Per-patient and per-procedure pay, plus quarterly bonus programs

Wound Care Physician Schedule

• Part-Time: 2–3 days per week
• Full-Time: 4–5 days per week

Wound Care Physician Requirements

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one
