The Mankato Clinic seeks a Part-time Patient Support Coordinator in wound care to greet, register and schedule patients on-site at Main Street Clinic in Mankato.

You will provide excellent customer service, learn EHR and payment systems, and coordinate patient care with providers and staff within the department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to remain composed in fast-paced environments.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong keyboarding and telephone skills.

• Ability to work well in a team.
• BLS (CPR) certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Mankato Clinic.
• Schedule patient appointments including follow-ups, cancellations and rescheduling.
• Register patients in person and by phone.
• Accept and enter payments in computer system.
• Update insurance and verify personal information.
• Distribute, explain and collect patient forms.
• Answer patient questions and direct patients to correct areas.
• Perform clerical functions for the department.
