Job summary

NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in wound care to join a multidisciplinary team. You will assess deep wounds, ostomies, and complex skin injuries, develop care plans, and educate patients and families on prevention and treatment.

As a wound care specialist, you will collaborate with surgeons, podiatry, dermatology, and ICU teams, ensuring evidence-based practices and quality care aligned with NYSDH standards.

Qualifications

• Valid NYRN license and current NYSED registration.
• Current CWOCN/CWON/CWCN/CWS/WCC certifications or WCC.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assess wounds and plan comprehensive care for complex cases.
• Educate patients and staff on wound prevention and treatment.
