Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in Marlton, NJ is seeking a Wound Care Nurse (RN) for Per Diem/PRN, 8-hour shifts, including weekends. The role focuses on preserving skin integrity, leading wound rounds, and delivering expert wound care in an inpatient rehab setting.

Responsibilities

• Preserve skin integrity by implementing skin preservation strategies.

• Provide hands-on wound care for difficult and non-healing wounds.
• Serve as a resource to hospital staff on wound and skin care issues.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Location: 92 Brick Road, Marlton, NJ 08053Schedule: Per Diem/PRN, 8HR Shifts, Varied, Weekends as needed

Compensation: $55/hr

Responsibilities

• Preserving the integrity of the skin by implementing and monitoring skin preservation strategies.
• Ensuring all wound and skin care protocols are approved by the medical staff.
• Organizing multidisciplinary wound and skin rounds on a weekly basis for high-risk patients and patients with current pressure ulcers and other significant wounds.
• Providing hands-on wound care for all difficult and non-healing wounds.
• Serving as a resource to all hospital staff on all issues related to wound and skin care.
• Ensuring all regulatory requirements are met

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Valid State RN License required
• BLS required at hire
• Previous hospital nursing experience required
• Excellent presentation skills and organizational skills required

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN or enrollment in a BSN program preferred
• WCC, CWCN, CWOCN, or CWS preferred
