Job summary

RestorixHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our wound care team in Michigan. You will apply the Nursing Process to plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.

We offer a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for ongoing education and career growth. Training will be provided for wound-care guidance and patient education.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred for Magnet Hospitals.
• Valid Registered Nursing license required.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Prior wound care experience; training provided.
• Billing and coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on nursing theory and evidence-based practice.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Prioritize nursing actions according to patient needs and acuity.
• Implement physician orders accurately within timeframes.
• Educate patients and families on wound care processes.

Our Wound Care Registered Nurses (will train) are the heart and soul behind what we do. Utilizing the Nursing Process, the RN plans, implements, directs, and evaluates patient care to achieve optimal outcomes. The Wound Care Nurse works collaboratively with all other disciplines on the assigned unit. Additionally, the RN prioritizes nursing actions and will implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames. Ongoing training will provide you with the tools to be successful in your role.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide patient care based on scientific principles/nursing theory and evidence-based practice
• Recognize change in the patient’s condition and intervene appropriately
• Prioritize nursing actions including reflecting patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes
• Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames
• Educate and counsel patients and their families on wound care processes and issues

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing required for Magnet Hospitals
• Valid Registered Nursing license required
• Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association required
• Prior experience working with wound care patients (Will train)
• Prior experience with billing and coding preferred
