Job summary

RestorixHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our wound care team. You will provide patient-centered care using established nursing processes and evidence-based practice, collaborating with multidisciplinary staff to achieve optimal outcomes.

Ongoing training will equip you with wound care skills; a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends is offered, along with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth within a leading wound healing and amputation

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing; BSN preferred for Magnet Hospitals
• Valid Registered Nurse license
• CPR certification from American Heart Association
• Experience with wound care patients (Will train)
• Experience with billing and coding preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on nursing theory and evidence-based practice
• Recognize change in patient condition and intervene accordingly
• Prioritize nursing actions based on patient needs and acuity
• Implement physician orders accurately and educate patients and families on wound care

Our Wound Care Registered Nurses (will train) are the heart and soul behind what we do. Utilizing the Nursing Process, the RN plans, implements, directs, and evaluates patient care to achieve optimal outcomes. The Wound Care Nurse works collaboratively with all other disciplines on the assigned unit. Additionally, the RN prioritizes nursing actions and will implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames. Ongoing training will provide you with the tools to be successful in your role.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide patient care based on scientific principles/nursing theory and evidence-based practice


• Recognize change in the patient’s condition and intervene appropriately


• Prioritize nursing actions including reflecting patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes


• Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time framesEducate and counsel patients and their families on wound care processes and issues

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing required for Magnet Hospitals


• ValidRegistered Nursing license required


• Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association required


• Prior experience working with wound care patients (Will train)


• Prior experience with billing and coding preferred
