Job summary

Cedar Hills Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is hiring an RN or LPN wound care nurse to provide specialized wound assessment, treatment, and prevention. You will work with the clinical team to maintain skin integrity and promote best practices in wound management within a resident-centered facility.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of clinical nursing experience with wound care preference, a current RN/LPN license, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license.
• 1–3 years of clinical nursing experience (wound care strongly preferred).
• CPR certification (required).
• Strong assessment and clinical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform wound assessments, treatments, and preventive skin care.
• Implement and monitor wound care plans per physician orders.
• Conduct regular rounds to evaluate resident skin conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team on wound care strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and treatment records.
• Communicate wound progress with residents, families, and physicians.
• Monitor and assist with nutrition/hydration needs for wound healing.
• Ensure treatment cart is organized and fully stocked.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
