Job summary

Odelia Healthcare in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support resident care in a skilled nursing setting. You will perform skin assessments, wound care, and treatment documentation while collaborating with physicians and nursing leadership for optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved LPN program and licensed in NM.
• One year experience in long-term care preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform resident skin assessments, obtain treatment orders, and document appropriately.
• Monitor wound healing and recommend changes to treatment orders.
• Maintain records of pressure ulcers and related assessments.
• Educate newly hired staff on Skin Practice Guide and wound care resources.
• Coordinate with central supply for wound care supplies.
• Assist the Director of Nursing with case reviews.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and industry practices.
• Provide periodic reports for QA and PI committees.
• Other duties as assigned.
