Job summary

The Cantex Senior Communities location in Frisco, TX is seeking a Treatment Nurse (RN/LVN) responsible for wound care oversight for Residents, following physician prescriptions and standards of care. This role may supervise CNAs to ensure the highest practical well-being is maintained.

Qualifications include a nursing license in the state and at least one year in a long-term or health care setting; English proficiency and teamwork are essential to coordinate patient care and documentation

Qualifications

• Current and valid nursing license in the state.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
• Minimum of one year in long-term or health care setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Observe, assess, treat, and document residents' wounds per care system and regulations.
• Ensure preventive measures to prevent pressure ulcers.
• Assist in data collection and documentation for quality assurance and reporting.
• Consult with Director of Nurses/Attending Physician regarding wound changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide care coordination with CNAs and ensure safety and documentation.
