Job summary

Cantex Senior Communities is seeking a Treatment Nurse (RN/LVN) to oversee wound care for Residents as prescribed by the attending physician, within RN/LVN scope and licensure.

The role may involve direct patient care or supervision of CNAs to ensure optimal well-being. Responsibilities include wound assessment, treatment, documentation, and collaboration with nursing leadership to maintain high care standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing School with a current, valid license in the applicable State.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a long-term or health care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of wound care treatments and dressings.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Observe, assess, and document residents' wounds.
• Ensure prevention of pressure ulcers.
• Assist in data collection for quality assurance and reporting.
• Consult with Director of Nurses/Attending Physician on wound changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate care with CNAs and ensure proper documentation.
