Job summary
Touchstone Communities in Big Spring, TX is seeking a Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN) to provide individualized wound and treatment care with compassion, supporting healing and comfort for our residents. You’ll collaborate with physicians, licensed nurses, and the care team, document clearly, and educate residents and families on wound prevention.
A Texas RN or LVN license is required, with strong clinical judgment and a heart for service.
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN or LVN license.
- Experience in wound care or skilled nursing preferred.
- Strong communication and compassionate patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized wound and treatment care with excellence and compassion.
- Assess and monitor skin integrity, ensuring early identification and timely intervention.
- Collaborate with physicians, licensed nurses, and the care team to support optimal healing.
- Document clearly, accurately, and thoughtfully — with strong attention to detail.
- Educate residents, families, and team members on wound prevention and care best practices.
- Promote a positive, faith-grounded culture that reflects our mission and values.
