Job summary

Cambridge Care Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN accepted) to provide high-quality wound care and daily nursing support to residents in our long-term care facility in Colorado. You will evaluate wounds for infection, coordinate care with physicians, and supervise day-to-day nursing activities to meet federal, state, and local guidelines.

The role requires 1 year of RN/LPN experience, an active Colorado license, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Colorado (LPN accepted as alternative).
• Minimum 1 year of RN/LPN experience in nursing.
• CPR certification required or ability to obtain promptly.

Responsibilities

• Communicate changes in resident condition to team, physician, residents and families.
• Complete medical documents, reports and evaluations.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required.
• Complete accident/incident reports.
• Ensure adequate supplies including medications and resident needs.
• Prevent resident abuse and ensure safety procedures.
• Conduct rounds to assess and address wound care, behavior, respiratory needs, etc.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
