Mountain Ridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Wound Nurse to provide specialized wound care and skin treatments for residents in a long-term care setting. The role includes obtaining treatment orders, adjusting care plans, and coordinating with physicians and the nursing team.

Qualifications

• Current State License as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• CPR certification is required.
• Wound care certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform wound care and skin treatments for Residents.
• Obtain treatment orders from attending physicians and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Update skin sheets and care plans regularly with the nursing team.
• Supervise CNAs and ensure tasks are completed correctly.
• Assess admissions and determine need for physician referral or consultation.
