Job summary

Waverly Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center is hiring a Wound Care Nurse for a full-time position. You will develop and ensure individualized wound care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to promote skin integrity and healing.

Responsibilities include implementing preservation strategies, approving protocols with medical staff, participating in weekly rounds for high-risk patients, providing hands-on wound care, organizing restorative programs, and meeting regulatory

Qualifications

• Current State License as an RN/LPN is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preserving the integrity of the skin by implementing and monitoring skin preservation strategies.
• Ensuring all wound and skin care protocols are approved by the medical staff.
• Participating multidisciplinary wound and skin rounds on a weekly basis for high risk patients and patients with current pressure ulcers and other significant wounds.
• Providing hands-on wound care for all difficult and non-healing wounds.
• Organize and implement the restorative program.
• Ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
