Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Active RN or LPN license.
• Current Wound Care and CPR certifications.
• Minimum 1 year wound care experience (2 years preferred).

Aufgaben

• Act as liaison between the Wound Specialist Physician and nursing staff.
• Participate in development and achievement of Wound Care Program and objectives.
• Staff development functions/responsibilities.
• Provide educational programming.
• Implement and monitor compliance with policies and standards of practice.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team to promote wound healing.
• Provide direct resident care for wound management as ordered by physician.
• Implement individualized treatment plans for residents.
• Communicate with physicians about resident care and assist with regulatory compliance.
• Innovate and improve systems and processes to achieve superior results.
