August-Healthcar is seeking a Wound / Treatment Nurse (RN or LPN) to coordinate and provide wound care and prescribed treatments for residents. This role supports skin integrity, healing outcomes, regulatory compliance, and high-quality care.

The ideal candidate is organized, clinically strong, and passionate about wound management, documentation, and collaborating with physicians, nursing leadership, and families. Day shift positions may be combined for full-time or part-time roles.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in the state.
• Experience with wound care preferred.
• Knowledge of wound staging and treatment protocols.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and administer physician-ordered wound care and treatments.
• Perform skin assessments on new admissions and residents.
• Monitor, document, and photograph wound progress and interventions.
• Communicate changes in wound condition to physicians and families.
• Maintain accurate wound documentation and treatment records.
• Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary wound care teamwork.
• Assist with tube feedings and related treatments as assigned.
• Order wound care supplies and manage inventory.
• Support QA, surveys, and audits related to skin integrity.
• Educate nursing staff on wound care best practices.
