Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Atlantic City, NJ is seeking a Wound Care Nurse Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time day shift (7:00 am – 7:00 pm). Compensation ranges from $45.11 to $62.10 per hour based on experience, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

A 100% company-paid BSN pathway and ongoing education support are offered. The RN will lead skin and wound care initiatives, coordinate multidisciplinary rounds, provide hands-on wound care, and ensure regulatory compliance within a high‑level post‑ICU

Qualifications

• AD (Associate's degree in Nursing) required.
• 1 year of related experience required.
• Valid State RN License.
• BLS certification by start date.
• Wound care training to be completed within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Preserving the integrity of the skin by implementing and monitoring skin preservation strategies.
• Ensuring all wound and skin care protocols are approved by the medical staff.
• Organizing multidisciplinary wound and skin rounds on a weekly basis for high risk patients and patients with current pressure ulcers and other significant wounds.
• Providing hands‑on wound care for all difficult and non‑healing wounds.
• Serving as a resource to all hospital staff on wound and skin care issues.
• Ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.

• One (1) year of related experience required.
• Valid State RN License.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Must complete wound care training in the first 90 days in the role.

Preferred qualifications:

• BSN preferred.
