Job summary

Rehabilitation Center of Orlando is seeking a compassionate Wound Care Nurse (RN) to provide expert wound and skin care to our residents in Orlando, FL. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage and the opportunity to work with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include assessing and treating wounds, developing care plans, documenting progress, educating residents and families, and ensuring high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current, active Florida RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Wound care experience preferred.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience is a plus.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.

• Assess, treat, and monitor wounds and skin conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized wound care plans.
• Perform routine skin assessments and identify residents at risk for pressure injuries.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality resident care.
• Assist with applicable MDS documentation.
• Educate residents and families on wound care treatments.
• Recommend appropriate wound care products, dressings, and pressure-relieving devices.
• Monitor healing progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Report concerns related to resident safety, abuse, neglect, or infection per facility policy.

Pay: $36.00–$40.00 per hour

Working alongside our interdisciplinary team, you'll play a key role in promoting healing, preventing skin breakdown, and improving quality of life.
