Job summary

The Willows Health and Rehab Center is seeking an experienced RN or LPN to join our caring team in a full-time capacity. You will assess residents, develop individualized care plans, administer nursing care, and supervise nursing assistants to ensure high-quality care.

Must hold an unencumbered RN or LPN license and CPR certification. Prior infection prevention training and wound care experience are highly valued as you work within established policies and a supportive, team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN or LPN in the state
  • Must possess a current CPR certification
  • Specialized training in infection prevention and control required (e.g., CDC modules)
  • Must communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to work hours as scheduled

Responsibilities

  • Assess residents' needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer nursing care and supervise nursing assistants and other staff
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local standards and infection control policies
  • Coordinate with the Director of Nursing Services to maintain quality care
  • Maintain documentation and participate in ongoing staff training

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your jobis toassess resident’s needs, develop an individualized care plan, administer nursing care, evaluate nursing care and supervise nursing assistants and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our community, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services or designee to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Education & Qualifications:
  • Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN or LPN within the state in which you work.

  • Must possess a current CPR certification.

  • Have completed (or complete within first week of hire) specialized training in infection prevention and control (ex. CDC’s infection and control modules or other qualified infection control education). Any additional state-specific training required for the position will be completed at the earliest available opportunity.

  • Must be able to communicate in English and havethe abilityto follow verbal and written instructions.

  • Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position/assignment.

Experience:
  • Minimum two (2) years of RN/LPN experience in a hospital, nursing facility or other related healthcare facility, preferably in long term care.

  • Experience teaching or training adult learners and have prior experience/training in Infection Prevention and Control processes preferred.

  • Management experience preferred.

  • Previous wound care experience strongly preferred.

Shift & Wage:
  • Full-Time Opportunity Available

  • Shifts Needed: Monday - Friday, 8:30a - 5:00p

    • On Call Rotation

  • Wage: Based on Experience
