Job Overview

Korzen Health seeks a part-time Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) available 2-3 days/week to lead the Wound Care Clinic program in Roseburg, Oregon, in collaboration with Healogics and Mercy MC.

Healogics has over 25 years of experience, treating patients with chronic wounds across more than 600 hospital-based wound care centers nationwide. They treat over 300,000 patients annually and have healed nearly 4 million wounds, making them the world's leading wound healing expert.

Position Details

This outpatient wound care clinic position is dedicated to procedural wound care, operating Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no nights, on-call duties, or weekend work. All patients are by appointment only, with the clinic integrated with Mercy MC Hospital. The candidate will be employed by Healogics.

The environment primarily serves geriatric patients and requires at least 1 year of procedural experience, including suturing, debridement, or incision and drainage (I&D). Procedural case logs will be part of credentialing.

Training and Support

Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) Therapy training are available. A full clinical team will support from the start, including Case Managers, HBO Nurses, Office Manager, and support staff.

Responsibilities and Treatments

• Providing advanced wound-care treatments such as cellulitis therapy, compression therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, infection management, wound cleaning, and dressing.

Teams handle approximately 15-20 patient encounters daily, mostly wound care with less than 5% receiving HBO therapy. Opportunities for leadership growth are available, along with a comprehensive 60-hour training program.
