Job summary

Valley View Medical Center in Ft Mohave, AZ is seeking a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to assess, diagnose and treat acute and chronic wounds, including hyperbaric therapy. The role combines autonomy with collaboration within an established wound care program.

The ideal candidate is an APRN in good standing with strong clinical and procedural skills and excellent communication. CWOCN certification is preferred but not required, with a Monday–Friday schedule in a hospital-based outpatient/wound

Responsibilities

• Perform independent clinical assessments of acute and chronic wounds
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Perform hands-on procedures and advanced wound care interventions
• Manage systemic conditions contributing to chronic wounds
• Provide patient and family education to promote healing and prevent recurrence
• Collaborate with experienced nursing staff and physicians to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
• Provide inpatient wound consultations as needed

You will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with acute and chronic wounds, including those requiring hyperbaric oxygen therapy. This role offers both autonomy and team collaboration within a supportive, well-established wound care program.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform independent clinical assessments of acute and chronic wounds
