Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive wound care to patients in nursing facilities, working within a physician-led team to improve outcomes. The role involves using debridement and advanced dressings in a mobile, facility-based setting.

Whether experienced or new to wound care, you will receive comprehensive training with CME opportunities. Expect travel between sites daily, a valid driver's license, and a competitive compensation package including base pay

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted NP license in the state of practice.
• National board certification required (FNP, AGNP, or relevant specialty).
• Wound care experience preferred but not required – comprehensive training provided.
• DEA registration or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive wound care to patients in nursing facilities, utilizing debridement and advanced dressings.
• Work within a collaborative, physician-led team model that supports clinical growth and patient outcomes.
• Travel between multiple patient locations daily; maintain a reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize patient outcomes and documentation.

Nurse Practitioner - Wound Care

As an experienced or new-to-wound-care Nurse Practitioner, you'll manage your patient outcomes based on your clinical expertise and direction. At Skilled Wound Care, you are a valued member of a close-knit team, making a real difference in the lives of patients with chronic wounds.

MEANINGFUL WORK

Provide comprehensive wound care to patients in nursing facilities, utilizing the latest advancements in wound healing - including debridement and advanced dressings. You'll work within a collaborative, physician-led team model that supports your clinical growth and patient outcomes every step of the way.

EXCELLENT COMPENSATION

Full-time Nurse Practitioners can expect a competitive compensation package aligned with national wound care NP averages:

• Starting base pay of $120,000 - $145,000 annually


• Earn up to $171,000+ with additional services and performance-based bonuses. No earning cap.


• Per-patient visit pay


• Per-procedure pay


• Quarterly bonus program with the potential to earn up to 30% additional income


• Reimbursement for the application of biological skin substitutes

TIME COMMITMENT

• No call


• Work together with your team to build a schedule that works for you


• Custom software system designed to reduce admin and documentation time


• This is a mobile, facility-based role - you will travel between multiple patient locations daily. Must be very comfortable with extensive daily driving, have a reliable personal vehicle, and hold a valid driver's license.
