Korzen Health seeks a full-time Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to lead the Wound Care Clinic program in the Stephenville, TX area, in collaboration with Healogics and Texas Health.

The role is based in an outpatient clinic with hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and no nights, on-call duties, or weekend work. A full clinical team supports you from day one as you care for geriatric patients through diverse wound therapies.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Active State NP license and be a Certified Nurse Practitioner.
• Must have a DEA license and a minimum of 1 year NP experience.
• Procedural experience including suturing, debridement, and I&D is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Wound Care Clinic program in coordination with Healogics and Texas Health.
• Provide procedural wound care and related treatments in an outpatient setting.
• Maintain standard operating hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, no nights or weekends.
• Collaborate with a full clinical team and participate in ongoing HBO training.

Job description

Korzen Health seeks a full-time Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to lead the Wound Care Clinic program in the Stephenville, TX area, in collaboration with Healogics and Texas Health.

For over 25 years, Healogics has been treating patients with chronic wounds from over 600 hospital-based wound care centers across the country. Currently, Healogics treats over 300,000 wound care patients annually and has healed nearly 4 million wounds. Healogics is the world’s leading expert in wound healing.

This position is based in our outpatient wound care clinic and is exclusively dedicated to procedural wound care. Our center operating hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no nights, on-call duties, or weekend work. All patients are seen by appointment only; walk-ins are not accepted. The clinic is integrated with Texas Health Hospital, and the candidate will be employed by Healogics.

This is a procedure-oriented environment primarily serving geriatric patients. The successful candidate must possess at least 1 year of procedural background. Experience with minor procedures such as suturing, debridement, and/or incision and drainage (I&D) is required, and procedural case logs will be requested as part of the credentialing process. Other types of non-dermatological procedural experience may also be acceptable on a case-by-case basis.

Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) Therapy trainings are available. A full clinical team will be in place from the start date.

Scope of Practice Highlights

• Full Team support includes Case Manager, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Nurses, Office Manager, and Front/Back End Support

• We offer advanced wound-care treatments to promote healing, including: cellulitis therapy, compression therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, infection management and prevention, wound cleaning, and wound dressing

• Standard work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. There are no night shifts, on-call responsibilities, or weekend hours

Experience Requirements

• Clean and Active State license

• Must be a Certified Nurse Practitioner

• DEA License

• Minimum of 1 year of NP experience is a must
