Korzen Health seeks a full-time Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to lead the brand newWound Care Center in Flagstaff, AZ in collaboration with Healogics and Flagstaff Medical Center.

For over 25 years, Healogics has been treating patients with chronic wounds from over 600 hospital-based wound care centers across the country. Currently, we treats over 300,000 wound care patients annually and has healed nearly 4 million wounds. We are the worlds leading expert in wound healing.

This position is based in our outpatient wound care clinic and is exclusively dedicated to procedural wound care. Our standard work hours are daytime hours averaging around 40 hours per week. There are no night shifts, on-call responsibilities, holiday hours, or weekend hours. All patients are seen by appointment only; walk-ins are not accepted.

This is a procedure-oriented environment primarily serving geriatric patients. The successful candidate must possess at least 1 year of procedural background. Experience with minor procedures such as suturing, debridement, and/or incision and drainage (I&D) is required, and procedural case logs will be requested as part of the credentialing process. Other types of non-dermatological procedural experience may also be acceptable on a case-by-case basis.

Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) Therapy training are available. A full clinical team will be in place from the start date.

Scope of Practice Highlights

• Full team support includes Case Manager, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Nurses, Office Manager, and Front/Back End Support staff.
• We offer advanced wound-care treatments to promote healing, including cellulitis therapy, compression therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, infection management and prevention, wound cleaning, and wound dressing.
• Standard work hours are daytime hours averaging around 40 hours per week. There are no night shifts, on-call responsibilities, holiday hours, or weekend hours.

Experience & Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) license.
• Current DEA License.
• Minimum of 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience required.
• Demonstrated procedural experience (e.g., simple suturing, incision and drainage (I&D), or similar).
• Strong clinical judgment, patient-centered approach, and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
