Wound Care - Nurse Practitioner - Full-Time

Korzen Health is seeking a full-time Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to lead the Wound Care Clinic program in Clyde, NC, in collaboration with Healogics and Haywood Regional Medical Center.

For over 25 years, Healogics has been a leader in wound care, operating over 600 hospital-based centers nationwide, treating more than 300,000 patients annually, and healing nearly 4 million wounds. We are the world’s leading expert in wound healing.

This position is based in an outpatient wound care clinic, focusing exclusively on procedural wound care. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no nights, on-call duties, or weekend work. Patients are seen by appointment only, with no walk-ins. The clinic is integrated with Haywood Regional Medical Center, and the candidate will be employed by Healogics.

The environment is procedure-oriented, primarily serving geriatric patients. Candidates must have at least 1 year of procedural experience, including suturing, debridement, and incision and drainage (I&D). Procedural case logs will be required for credentialing. Other non-dermatological procedural experience may be considered case-by-case.

Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) Therapy training are available. A full clinical team will support from the start.

Scope of Practice Highlights

• Full team support including Case Manager, HBO Nurses, Office Manager, and Support staff
• Advanced wound-care treatments such as cellulitis therapy, compression therapy, HBO, infection management, wound cleaning, and dressing
• Approximately 15-20 patient encounters daily, mostly wound care, with less than 5% receiving HBO therapy

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, totaling 40 hours per week, with no night shifts, on-call, or weekend hours. There are opportunities for leadership growth.

Experience Requirements

• Active and clean State license
• Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP)

• Minimum 1 year NP experience, procedural experience required (suturing, I&D)

Benefits and Compensation

Salary includes base pay plus quarterly bonuses, totaling $115,000 to $155,000 annually. Benefits include healthcare, 401K, retirement plan, PTO, and major holiday leave.
