Due to increased demand and company expansion, we are recruiting to increase our clinical workforce.

We are a specialist ADHD diagnosis and treatment clinic operating throughout the United Kingdom. We are more than just a diagnosis service; we provide bespoke assessment and treatment packages aimed at helping patients reach their full potential. As an integral part of our organization, the ADHD Clinician (non-medical prescriber) will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, formulating, and monitoring treatment plans. You will possess a strong understanding of evidence-based practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting, providing essential services to individuals seeking support for ADHD.

Job responsibilities

Job Title: Clinical Lead

Hours: 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday

ADHD 360 is a private healthcare provider specializing in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of ADHD. Based in Lincolnshire, with clinics nationwide and remote capabilities.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Lead role involves leadership, clinical expertise, and ensuring high-quality care delivery. You will lead and support clinicians, oversee clinical operations, ensure safe practice, and promote excellent patient experiences.

You will be expected to role model organizational values, demonstrate clinical responsibilities as an ADHD Practitioner, and support patients through their treatment pathways, including triage, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of adults and/or children.

You will need strong knowledge and skills in ADHD clinical delivery, support staff with complex cases, and have expertise in at least one clinical specialty.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of the clinical team, including 1:1 supervision, assessments, and audits.
  • Conduct regular team case discussions and clinical issue resolutions.
  • Induction and coaching of new staff, supporting probationary periods.
  • Manage mental health risk and safeguarding concerns, providing guidance and ensuring compliance.
  • Act as point of contact for clinical incidents and risk management in the absence of the Team Manager.
  • Hold challenging conversations and support performance improvement plans.
  • Review and analyze patient safety incidents and lead learning initiatives.
  • Deliver team training sessions based on incident reports, clinical questions, and ongoing learning.
  • Communicate complex, sensitive information effectively to patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Undertake clinical supervision, assessments, and follow-ups for your team.
  • Maintain professional development in line with appraisal plans.
  • Support Team Manager duties when needed.

In addition to your Clinical Lead responsibilities, you will:

  • Assess adults and/or children for ADHD, considering differential diagnoses.
  • Practice as a non-medical prescriber, developing treatment and titration plans, reviewing physical observations.
  • Support patients throughout their treatment journey, including follow-ups until stability.
  • Perform risk assessments and safeguard reviews.
  • Ensure prescriptions comply with legal requirements and maintain accurate records.
  • Report clinical incidents and near misses to promote continuous learning.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified nurse, pharmacist, or medical professional with UK registration and PIN (Essential).
  • Qualified Non-Medical Prescriber (Essential).
  • Specialist ADHD nurse or pharmacist experience (Desirable).
  • Ability to work independently within professional standards (Essential).
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical treatments for ADHD (Desirable).
  • Experience in staff supervision and clinical governance (Essential).
  • Excellent communication, IT skills, and ability to work remotely.
