Job summary

Canyon Vista Post Acute in Las Vegas seeks a Treatment Nurse to ensure effective care per physician orders and facility policies. You will work under the Director of Nursing, promoting high-quality care for residents.

Responsibilities include documenting care, communicating with families, and assisting physicians during visits while maintaining professional standards and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two (2) years or more experience, preferably in a long‑term care facility.
• Maintain a current CPR certification and an active license as an RN or LVN/LPN.

Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with residents and family about Plans of Care and treatment protocols.
• Provide resident care including carrying out physician orders and medication administration.
• Chart nurses' notes reflecting care provided and resident responses.
• Observe wounds and notify physicians of progress, deterioration, or signs of infection.
• Assist in updating care plans and coordinate with physicians and health professionals.
