Avante at Leesburg is seeking a Wound Care Nurse to provide weekly monitoring of existing pressure ulcers, with recommendations for treatment changes in the absence of improvement. Recommending and implementing preventative interventions to prevent skin breakdowns for immobile and inactive residents in accordance with state and federal regulations. To direct and supervise the restorative needs of all residents, in cooperation with the Rehab Director and Director of Nursing, for the purpose of preventing decline and maintaining the highest practicable level of functioning.
