Qualifications

• Arizona RN or LPN license required.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or wound care.
• Wound care certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English effectively.
• Current CPR certification; strong computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Conducts wound rounds twice weekly with wound care team and physician.
• Performs comprehensive wound assessments and documents findings.
• Ensures appropriate treatment orders and follows up with providers as needed.
• Completes wound treatments and records resident response in EMR.
• Evaluates wound progress and recommends treatment changes to the physician.
• Educates staff on wound assessment, prevention, and documentation.
