Job summary
ALIYA Healthcare Consulting is seeking a compassionate Wound Care Nurse to join our facility on the south side of Chicago. You will provide high-quality wound care, promote healing, and contribute to improved health outcomes for our patients.
The role requires a minimum of 2 years' wound care nursing experience, an Illinois RN license, and familiarity with EMR systems. CWCN/CWS/CWOCN certification is preferred, and strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of wound care nursing experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current RN license in Illinois.
- CWCN, CWS, or CWOCN certification preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and wound care software.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized wound care treatment plans.
- Conduct wound inspections and document findings.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including cleansing and dressings.
- Educate patients and families on wound care and prevention.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team for comprehensive care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
